Our Mission…

“G.R.A.C.E. Ministries” is the name of the growing children’s ministry at Woodway First United Methodist Children’s Ministries. It is our deep belief that God is Reaching All Children Everywhere. For this reason, we offer numerous opportunities for children to grow in their faith and experience the love of Jesus. Kids from birth to 6th grade are encouraged to join together in a safe and welcoming environment to learn about God, study His Word, fellowship with their church family and actively serve others through the Body of Christ.

Our Leaders…

The backbone of our Children’s Ministries consists of two staff members, Mrs. Shawna Furman, Director of Children’s Ministries and Mrs. Jeannie Frost, Assistant Director of Children’s Ministries. However, the Body of Christ has many parts, thankfully! We are pleased to have many strong and faithful volunteers serving together every week. We are also blessed with a strong Childcare Team as well! This consistency allows your children to see the same familiar faces week after week and gives them an opportunity to develop a meaningful and lasting relationship with their teachers.

Your child’s safety and well-being is most important to us. Therefore, we are a “Safe SanctuaryChurch”. This means we that we carefully select our teachers and volunteers as well as screen and train them as a part of our Safe Sanctuary requirements.
